FF XIII

I should be delivered by today so I can play it by tomorrow.. Who else will play the Final Fantasy 13?
my dear.. between your legs you have an instrument capable of bringing pleasure to thousands and all you can do is scratch it - Th. Beechham to a chello player.

It ain't the fall that gets you. It's the sudden stop at the bottom.

I have it pre-ordered. I just feel bad picking it up. I don't even have time to play White Knight Chronicles, but I really want this - just no extra $$ right about now. Might have to turn in a few games if I do get it.

since I formated my hard disc of the PS3 I don't play White Knight Chronicles anymore. I also lost my save games of Dantes Inferno :(
But I am anxious for FF XIII. I should have it in my mailbox today

boah... what I have seen so far, the game is amazing.. I like the style of the battles, I love the graphics, the story appeares also very interesting and the gameplay is cool.. the only drawback I have encountered so far is the camera control. It reacts to sensitiv for me. Maybe it can be configured. I have to check that out.

Ok because GameStop is running an awesome deal on tradeins I got the game wihout havin to use cash.

I LOVE it. The controls are amazingly intuitive and the story is interesting (moms are strong!!!) and he graphics are gorgeous. Agree about the camera...but I don't see where to change the speed it moves??

I guess there is no option to change the sensitivity of the camera controls.

Wait until you progress.. the story gets much more intense. The battle improve later on and.. and.. I don't want to spol

I adore this game. it's my favorite of ALL the FF I have played lately - I'm just coming up to getting the first summons, I think. I think it's incredibly intuitive to build your characters, and I love how to move through the paradigms for the battles...

If only I had more free time! =(

Loving it also...some chapter where better then others, some of the forced 2 character segments in Chapter 5 with Saszh and Vanille mostly, where a little too long for my taste but chapter 7 was amazing...i am now on Gran Pulse, where it opens up a bit...graphics are insane,I like the cast of characters, the voice acting, except for Vanille who is a little too cheerfully at times I think, are amazing,I love Fang`s voice and Lightning..Saszh is well done also.

Seriously, Vanille is gonna get punched in the head soon - her chirpy uberhappy voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard, or chewing on tinfoil. *shudder* And the mom in me wants to slap Hope upside the head - seriously, stop whining kid! Otherwise, I love the characters. I'm far behind you guys, just got Shiva, and I'm on to the part where Hope just joined up with Vanille and Mr. Chocobo-head. =)

It's weird compared to other FF - there's no "grinding" to be done, cause you don't/can't level up - it's INCREDIBLY linear, at least thus far - I kinda like it, it makes me feel I'm moving along quickly in the game, you know?

OK I got to play quite a bit yesterday, and the fight for Odin was the hardest one so far, but it only took me 3 tries. =) I'm going to get a lot of time to play tomorrow I think, with everyone else in the family working...I really want to see what happens - it's like having a book that I can only read from time to time, just as the story gets good!

I'm in Chapter 7, and realizing I totally suck at the fights when you can use the Summons. Still...loving this game. =)

No...cause when I do, I feel like I don't know what I'm doing. I've used Shiva once, and Odin once for the training thing.

Getting really good at the whole Paradigm thing.

yeah.. the paradigm fight style is crazy :) I really love it.. later on, you can configure the paradigms and much later on you even can group your party as you like to. I hope this did not spoil your game too much :shrugs:
